Philo Siegl — Strategy. Operations. AI.

I turn business problems into smart, AI‑native solutions.

I help startups and growing companies solve complex problems, build smarter workflows and turn ideas into solutions that actually work — from strategic concepts to hands-on implementation and AI-powered automation.

The starting point

Your problem probably doesn’t need another tool.
It needs someone to understand it.

Companies rarely struggle because there are no solutions available. They struggle because processes are inefficient, ideas stay abstract, or nobody has the time to figure out how technology and AI can actually help.

That’s where I come in. I analyze problems, challenge existing approaches and develop pragmatic solutions at the intersection of strategy, operations and AI. Sometimes that means a go-to-market approach. Sometimes it means redesigning a workflow or building an AI-powered automation. And sometimes it simply means bringing structure to a problem that has been sitting on the table for too long.

No standard playbooks. No AI for the sake of AI.
Just solutions built around the actual problem.

What I work on / 01

Strategy & Structured Thinking

Turning ideas and complexity into clear direction.

I help founders and teams structure strategic questions, challenge ideas and develop clear ways forward — go-to-market approaches, market and competitor analysis, growth initiatives, strategic concepts and the material decisions get made on.

  • “We have an idea, but no clear strategy.”
  • “We need to structure this before presenting it.”
  • “We know where we want to go, but not how to get there.”

What I work on / 02

AI, Automation & Smart Workflows

Finding smarter ways to get work done.

I look for repetitive, inefficient or unnecessarily manual processes and explore how AI and automation can genuinely improve them. I don’t force a tool onto a problem — I design around the actual workflow, combining AI models, automation platforms and your existing systems where they are useful. From simple internal automations to individualized AI workflows and prototypes.

  • “We are doing this manually every week.”
  • “There must be a smarter way to do this.”
  • “We want to use AI but don’t know where it actually makes sense.”

What I work on / 03

Operations & Execution

From thinking to actually getting things done.

A good strategy is useless if nobody turns it into action. I work hands-on with teams: moving projects forward, structuring initiatives, building processes, creating analyses and decision materials, and supporting growth and operational work where capacity is missing.

  • “We know what needs to happen, but nobody has the capacity to drive it.”
  • “This project needs structure.”
  • “Can someone just take this and figure it out?”

The point

Same pieces. Different structure.

Strategy, operations and AI aren’t three separate projects. Most real problems need all three — understood, connected and built as one system.

About

Hey, I’m Philo.

I’m naturally obsessed with finding better ways to do things. Give me an inefficient process, an unstructured idea or a business problem, and my first thought is usually: there has to be a smarter way to solve this.

Today, that often involves AI. I spend a significant amount of my time experimenting with new models, tools and automation technologies — not because every company suddenly needs an “AI strategy”, but because what small teams can build and achieve has fundamentally changed.

My background combines business strategy, operations and technology. Alongside my Master’s in Business Administration at LMU Munich, I’ve worked in marketing, digital platform development and strategy and startup projects. Today, I independently support startups and growing companies with strategic and operational challenges.

I don’t see myself as a traditional consultant. I like understanding a problem, breaking it down and figuring out what the best solution could look like — a strategy, a process, an automation, or something that didn’t exist before.

Think structured. Build pragmatically.
Use AI where it makes a real difference.

One open slot in the system

Let’s solve something.

You don’t need to know which AI tool you need. You don’t need a finished project brief. And you definitely don’t need to have the solution figured out already.

Tell me what’s not working, what takes too much time or what you’re trying to achieve. I’ll take a look at the problem.
